Do you find you are overly self critical in social situations? Are you able to forgive others for small or big mistakes, but constantly beat yourself up over the most minor things? Is there a really harsh, mean voice in your head?
One way to manage social anxiety is to learn to take a more compassionate approach to yourself. It takes time and practice, but learning to talk to yourself with kindness and compassion can be a huge game changer when it comes to how you feel.
But how do you get started?
To help you explore your own self compassion and how it relates to your social anxiety, I created this self compassion journal. It includes 100 journal prompts with 5 prompts per day with room for you to write down your answers.
This 27-page journal includes an explanation of how to use journal prompts, and prompts for self reflection and guidance on actions you can take.
I hope that you will start to take a more self-compassionate approach to your social anxiety. This journal can help! Let me know if you use it and what you learned.
